Consumer device interaction
Consumer device interaction is the latest addition to the vehicle communication network since "Nomadic" or portable devices such as mobile phones and MP3 players (ex. iPod) are brought to the vehicle by the driver or passengers.
Mecel are focused on this merger between the consumer and vehicle electronics worlds. In 1998 at the IAA in Frankfurt Mecel showed the first Bluetooth in vehicle use-case, since then we have successfully assisted TIER-1's and vehicle OEM's to launched consumer device interaction products for mobile phones and PDA's.
Our knowledge in technologies like Vehicle Communication and Wireless Communication combined with our product Bluetooth complemented with hard-wired interfaces allows us to offer Automotive Grade Software solutions for the vehicle's interaction with consumer devices.
