Functional Safety experts

Mecel has since the very start of the ISO 26262 standardization been involved internationally as well as nationally to develop the standard to become a state-of-the-art standard. Mecel's Functional Safety experts can give you the insights needed to adopt smoothly to the new standard.

We have been especially interested in getting support within the standard for development of COTS, such as AUTOSAR basic software. We are also working with implementing processes in compliance with ISO 26262 at our customer’s sites.

Dr Håkan Sivencrona is a specialist on Functional Safety, AUTOSAR and Development processes is an active participant in the development of the ISO 26262 standard. Along with his Functional Safety team they help you with all aspects for best practice ISO 26262 training and implementation.

Mecel has been involved since 2005 in two of the most important standardization initiatives within the area of automotive functional safety, i.e. the AUTOSAR Safety Working Group and the ISO 26262 Working Group.
