In the automotive industry there is an increasing need to integrate electronic and electrical systems from different suppliers. The traditional "black-box" approach no longer provides the sufficient functionality or quality. As the automotive systems becomes more and more complex, the need for intelligent handling of the complete vehicle system is increasing.
We at Mecel call this Distributed System Solutions, this skill is also known in the industry as system integration or functional integration.
At Mecel we have a long history of providing this to the automotive world, being one of the first to design a system with CAN back in 1986.
