ATESST2 – Release of half time report
ATESST2, Advancing traffic efficiency and safety through software
technology, is a two-year European STREP project (Specific Targeted
Research or Innovation Project) that Mecel participates in.
Several interesting documents on topics in EE systems
modelling, safety engineering and variant management are now available.
The documents are published on the official ATESST2 homepage: www.atesst.org - go to
'Presentations' for several ways to model systems and how to use the
EAST-ADL2 language.
About ATTEST2
Improved safety, efficiency as well as environmental-friendliness
require software-based systems. To cope with complexity, avoid errors
and optimize the product to different goals, rigorous system
development is necessary.
ATESST2 addresses system modeling techniques and will deliver an
automotive architecture description language, ADL. Focus is on
achieving an adequate information structure for all engineering
information involved in automotive software development.
ATESST2 is coordinated by
Volvo Technology Corporation and the project consortium consists of
10 partners. OEMs: Centro Ricerche Fiat, Volkswagen/Carmeq and Volvo
Technology Corp; Suppliers/Tool vendors: Continental Automotive GmbH,
Delphi/Mecel AB, Mentor Graphics Hungary Kft; Academics: Commissariat a
l'Energie Atomique LIST, Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan, Technische
Universität Berlin, University of Hull.
