Mecel announce the 10Q1 release of the Mecel Picea Suite for efficient AUTOSAR development
Mecel announces the 10Q1 release of Mecel Picea r3.1 Suite. A complete AUTOSAR 3.0/3.1 solution for the ECU developer with high quality demands.
Mecel Picea suite contains the AUTOSAR basic software, the run time
environment and an AUTOSAR configuration tool, Picea Workbench, for ECU
configuration and authoring. More specifically Mecel Picea basic
software contains modules for all hardware independent software,
effectively modules for systems services, memory stack, diagnostics,
communication on CAN, Lin and Flexray but also an Mecel Picea operating
system. Mecel Picea is ICC3 compliant and is easily integrated with
micro controller abstraction layer provided by the chip
suppliers.
A major new feature in the 10Q1 release is the support for table based
configuration editors in Picea Workbench. This gives the user an
efficient interface to manage huge AUTOSAR configurations. The user can
navigate and edit data in a spreadsheet like table view by only using
the keyboard. The table contents can also be customized to fit each
users specific needs.
Optimization of basic software and run time environment are also
included in the 10Q1 release. This includes improvements in both
execution time and memory footprint of the embedded code as well as
performance improvements of the tools' execution time. The optimization
of the tools is very important to decrease the turn around time for
generation of huge AUTOSAR systems.
