Mecel delivers in-vehicle communication technology to new LUXGEN car

Mecel supplies in-vehicle communication technology to the Taiwan based car manufacturer LUXGEN.

LUXGEN is a new car brand developed in Taiwan with its name derived from combining Luxury and Genius. Mecel has supplied the in-vehicle communication technology to this exciting new vehicle and has worked closely together with the Taipei-based engineering team to develop the CAN-based communication platform that enables the sophisticated features/functions available in the new LUXGEN MPV.

In addition to supporting the engineering team with network development expertise, Mecel has also provided specification and verification services, and supplied its Autosoft communication software to many of LUXGEN’s ECU suppliers .

Mecel has for more than 25 years provided systems architecture and systems engineering services to the automotive industry. The design of a distributed system in vehicles requires a wide understanding of requirements as well as technologies. We have been an active part in the implementation of almost all communication buses used in the industry such as CAN, LIN and MOST. Mecel plays an active role in AUTOSAR standardization and is responsible for implementing key modules for diagnostics and CAN communication for validating the standard concept.
