Mecel Picea for AUTOSAR release 3.1 - a new milestone
We are proud to announce that we have completed the development of our Picea AUTOSAR basic software and RTE modules for the latest AUTOSAR release 3.1. CAN and LIN buses are fully supported now, Flexray support will be added in the coming months.
Together with the Picea Workbench Eclipse-based authoring and configuration tool, we can offer a complete environment for development of application software components in an AUTOSAR ECU, including a Virtual Function Bus simulator. Picea is hardware independent and the necessary microcontroller adaptation is handled by the MCAL layer, usually provided by the microcontroller supplier. Mecel can provide the entire BSW and RTE or parts of it, depending on the customer needs. We take great care in adherence to the AUTOSAR specifications and AUTOSAR XML format to be compatible with other vendors' tools and modules.
Mecel continues to develop AUTOSAR software for the upcoming 4.0 specification release, and by adding functionality to our Picea Workbench tool.
