Mecel proudly presents AUTOSAR Take Off - April 19th 2010 at Lindholmen Science Park, Gothenburg - an interesting and inspiring half day seminar with focus on tomorrows AUTOSAR solutions.
AUTOSAR has since 2004 steadily become more and more
important in the development of software based systems within the
automotive industry. A number of companies in the west Swedish region
have been dedicated in the development of the AUTOSAR standard that now
has begun to be used in production projects.

To be competitive everyone involved needs to stay at the forefront of
technology and extend networks in order to find the future solutions.
By using standardized solutions we improve quality, lower costs and
offer new, attractive functions. To continue develop both a broad
knowledge base and competitive AUTOSAR products in Sweden we now put
the spotlight on the future AUTOSAR solutions and AUTOSAR strategies
from the OEM:s
We are pleased to introduce Simon Fürst from BMW Group
who has been AUTOSARs spokesperson for the past year. He will address
AUTOSARs development the coming years as well as talk about BMWs
strategies and plans for AUTOSAR. Lennart Lundh from
Volvo Cars shares his experiences from Volvo’s investments in AUTOSAR.
Jens Svensson and Joakim Ohlsson from
Volvo Trucks talk about their experiences from a pilot project within
AUTOSAR. Kent Eric Lång from Mecel holds a panel
discussion on how the AUTOSAR can meet the high expectations from the
automotive industry. The seminar ends with a joint lunch.
AUTOSAR Take Off day is held by Mecel together with Västkraft.
