Mecel sponsors and participates in Göteborg Cross Country/Premiärloppet
2009 is another active year for Mecel! We are continuing our employee wellbeing & fitness theme by challenging our competitor HiQ in the race on April 19th in Skatås, Göteborg.
We are also one of the main sponsors for the race which last year drew over 700 participants – boys, girls, teens, elite runners and enthusiastic joggers & nordic walkers. In 2008, the elite category attracted top level runners and the male winner was Mustafa “Musse” Mohamed.
About Sävedalens AIK and our sponsorship
The race is the big starting event of the cross country season
in Sweden. It is hosted by Sävedalens AIK, a track and field and
orienteering club that realizes the importance of supporting every club
member’s development – from children & youth to elite athletes.
That mentality is the reason for Mecel’s sponsorship of the race. It
fits well with our idea of motivated employees being our most valuable
asset, and the importance of supporting individual and team
development.
About the challenge
Mecel will enter as many employees as possible in the race and
the HiQ challenge. Everyone chooses a suitable distance/category, and
earns points for participation as well as a good result in the
race.
