Mecel's Jakob Hjelmaker on the future of Bluetooth

Hjelmåker was invited as guest speaker at a Chalmers University of Technology seminar on June 5th and presented Mecel´s view of Bluetooth future in the automotive domain. Mecel predicts an extremely promising future for Bluetooth communication in vehicles, with recent break-throughs in low-energy and high-speed Bluetooth communication.

This was the eleventh seminar in a well visited series, arranged by Chalmers University of Technology  and Lindholmen Sceince Park in Gothenburg, and was held as a conclusion at a master's thesis work presentation ceremony.

Hjelmåker's presentation also included a demonstration of the recently launched Mecel Betula Head Unit Concept which is used to evaluate Bluetooth automotive features before implementation, and to check potential interoperability issues of mobile phones, which in the past has caused problems for the major phone manufacturers.
