Mentor Graphics and Mecel Announce the First Complete AUTOSAR 4.x Solution
Mecel partnered with Mentor Graphics in the development of the industry’s first complete AUTOSAR 4.x solution for the automotive marketplace. AUTOSAR is currently the largest E/E (Electrical/Electronic) standardization project in the automotive industry.
Mecel and Mentor Graphics will both sell the jointly developed tools, and support for the tools will be provided by both companies to their respective customer bases. From December 2011 the partnership offers availability of a solution for the design, configuration, generation, and implementation of an AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) solution for Versions 4.0.2 and 4.0.3.
