New AUTOSAR and FlexRay training available
Mecel adds additional courses to our general training portfolio for automotive systems- and software development. The new courses, AUTOSAR Engineering and Flexray Engineering, will give the attendees a good understanding of the technology areas.
The training content is a mixture of presentations and hands-on
exercises which give a detailed insight in these technologies and how
they will be used in development projects.
"AUTOSAR and Flexray are technologies that currently have high
focus in the automotive industry. It is introduced in several European
premium vehicle brands and will be common in most vehicle systems
platforms in a near future. Therefore its vital for anyone acting in
the automotive industry to have knowledge about these new
technologies." says Mikael Särnqvist, Engineering Manager at
Mecel.
Mecel has been part of standardisation activities of AUTOSAR and
Flexray since 2004 and has participated in validation and product
development projects with AUTOSAR and Flexray during this time. The
extensive knowledge and experience acquired during this time is the
source for the courses.
"Although we have products in the area of AUTOSAR and Flexray
(named Mecel Picea), these courses are
general and are not coupled to our products. We, have a special
training portfolio that covers the products," Mikael Särnqvist
continues.
The instructors used in Mecel trainings have several years of
experience working as system and software engineers within the
automotive domain. They also have experience from standardisation
activities such as AUTOSAR, Bluetooth SIG, and ISO.
